David Latil's 1995 Turbo Charged Mustang
Introduction - Pictures - Email - Buildup History and Results (update 01-01-2008)

I sold my beloved Mustang on August 27th 2007, but still continue to get updates on its status. The new owner has sent me some updates and some videos on the buildup page. It was a wild ride, worth every penny. Some of my prouder moments were achieved with this car. I will leave this site up as long as I feel it is useful to others. I still accept questions and am glad to help anyone who is on the same path.
This site exists to showcase my mustang as well as to show and help others who are considering or are going down the same path. My goal to begin with was a very streetable low 11 Mustang that retained all the comforts of a factory car, including AC, power steering, stock like vacuume/idle, stock driveability, reasonable gas mileage, and full interior. I have achieved my goal and then some. My last run was in the 10's and that was with some traction issues. My next goal will be to fix some loose ends and keep the stock block in one piece. In 2002, I started off with a totally stock car running 15's and now have a mid 10 second street machine for a reasonable price.
best performance:
10.66 @ 129.5, 1.62 60 ft
dyno run (on low boost on pump gas):
530 hp, and 614 lb tq! through an automatic!
My setup changes as I can afford to do buy what I need and get the time to work on it. What I think is valuable information is the results from my changes. Click on my buildup path and see what parts did what, and what didn't do squat. Also, buying the right stuff makes a difference in the long run, check out what I got and where I got it, and learn what to do and not to do.
A quick breakdown of my setup as of 12-29-2006:
